QuickBook Online - is there a discount on additional company files?

We recently started using QuickBooks online purchased through techsoup, which is great for us. Unfortunately, unlike the desktop version, you only get one company file.

We have an office in Australia to run our overseas program there. Legally this is a separate entity and I'd like to keep separate books.

Is there an option for adding additional company files at a discounted rate? I read on the intuit forums something along the lines that there is a $5/month per company file rate.

Is this something techsoup can help with, or has anybody successfully added more company files at a discounted rate?

I am in need of project management software, donor database and bookkeeping software. Is it possible to get discounts on all of them or do I need to pick one to ask for? This service is so amazing! Thank you for all you do!! Also, we have been paying for quickbooks online. Do you know if it is possible to apply this to an existing account?

Access 2019

I purchased Access 2019, but do not understand how to download it from the Microsoft Volume Download Center as it is not an ISO file.

Here is what the Microsoft Volume Licensing Center says about downloading this file:

Access 2019 will be released with Click-to-Run installation technology only. We are not providing MSI as a deployment methodology for Access 2019.

Does Techsoup have some instructions for doing this?

I purchased and downloaded Office 2016 a few months ago and have been unable to get any download to validate Office. I am getting the activation error every time I open it. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Migrating QuickBooks Online with Payroll from non-TechSoup to TechSoup QBO

My organization currently uses a non-TechSoup subscription to QuickBooks Online, and the associated QBO Payroll.

I understand that the basic process is to export from the old QBO to a Desktop version, then activate the new (TechSoup) QBO, using an email address other than the one used for old QBO, and export from Desktop QB to the TechSoup QBO, then close the old QBO account with Intuit.

But how would we get our payroll cut over to work with the new QBO? this needs to carry forward all payroll history, and work correctly with payroll-related tax payments and filings.

Has anyone done this?

Email confirmation seems broken

I have tried to create two new logins to TechSoup recently for two different organizations. I never receive the email confirmation from TechSoup. We have added the TechSoup domain to safe senders, checked junk, quarantine, and all the server logs and no email is being received from donotreply@techsoup.org. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I purchased the $10 Dell Affiliate program to obtain discounts for new hardware.  I received 3 quotes; two before I joined and 1 after.  There was no significant discount offered.   the promo said up to 45% plus 5% at checkout. Has anyone had a positive experience with this or is this a scam?

Does nonprofit validation for Google for Nonprofits require an IRS determination letter?

Our nonprofit has applied for Google for Nonprofits validation, but we have not received our IRS letter of determination. We do show as a nonprofit on the IRS website referencing "Publication 78 Data". Will this delay the validation by TechSoup? North Texas Renewable Energy Group, EIN 82-0824760

How to update organization annual budget?

We are also using QuickBooks online and need to go to QuickBook online advanced.  When will the upgrade to Advanced from Plus be available from TechSoup?  Need to upgrade soon for next budgeting year.

COMODO SSL Awaiting Validation

This is in regard to donation request 1993304.  My issue is very similar to this post http://forums.techsoup.org/cs/community/f/21/t/34406.aspx.

I completed the registration with COMODO shortly after receiving my donation approval email.  After not receiving an email to validate the domain name I was using the SSL certificate for, I reached out to COMODO support.  In my COMODO control panel, the status of the order said/still says, Awaiting Validation.

When I brought this to the attention of COMODO, they said, "Please contact Techsoup Global and ask them to authorize the order."

How long does it typically take Techsoup to authorize SSL orders?

Hi - We are a small non-profit and currently use Quickbooks Premier Edition 2015.  We are considering upgrading to newer edition.  Our current version is installed on the Treasurer's laptop. We would like a version that could accessed either online or in the cloud. Do you offer that?
